RRRolling Groningen
Do you love tasty dishes, tasty drinks and a good dose of conviviality? Then you’re in luck, because foodtruck festival RRRollend is coming to Groningen soon!
To make sure you can try as many flavours as possible, the foodtruckers offer dishes for €7.50 or less. This way, you can try out different snacks. From Friday 8 September 2023, you will find the food truck festival at the Ossenmarkt.
Opening hours:
Friday 8 September 2023: from 16:00 to 22:00 Saturday 9 September 2023: from 12:00 to 22:00 Sunday 10 September 2023: from 12:00 to 22:00 You can not only eat and drink at the festival, but also enjoy live music.
Good to know: only debit cards (for snacks) can be used at the venue and cash is not accepted. Entry to the festival is free.
Open Garden Weekend
The Open Garden Weekend on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August offers the perfect opportunity to have a look around Groningen’s gardens. Below are the addresses of participating gardens in the city of Groningen:

Wine festival Groningen
Enjoy a unique culinary experience at Wine Festival Groningen! Here you can indulge your taste buds with delicious wines and tasty dishes.
Wine Festival Groningen offers several ticket options, including limited Early Bird tickets for €10 (excluding service charges), regular presale tickets for €12.50 (excluding service charges), and tickets at the door for €15. Each ticket includes a tasting glass, cloakroom and fresh Groningen water to taste or rinse your mouth with.
Food and drinks are paid for with tokens, where you can enjoy half a glass of wine from as little as 1 token. Tokens can be bought at several points in the church for €3.00 each. However, take advantage of the special online promotion and buy 10 tokens for €26.50 (excluding service charges) in advance.
Noorderzon Festival
Experience once again the ultimate summer festival: Noorderzon Festival Groningen, an annual event, this year from 17 to 27 August 2023. Noorderzon is the perfect fusion of culture and summer festivities! Fun not only because of the performances, but also (and sometimes only) for the unique, relaxed atmosphere. The Noorderplantsoen park turns into a lively place with cosy terraces, tasty food stalls, hundreds of lights and artistic installations.
Discover a wonderful international and local programme at the festival, which takes place in the Noorderplantsoen and at various locations in Groningen city centre. This year is a smaller but equally recognisable Noorderzon, with a live local, national and international programme.
