Mark your calendars: from Wednesday 8 to Sunday 12 April 2026, the car park at Jumbo Meerstad will once again be all about fun, attractions and local conviviality. Whether you come for the bumper cars or the much-coveted candy floss, this small-scale event is the perfect place for an afternoon out with the whole family.

The best funfair for the little ones

Don’t expect a huge fair where you have to wander around for hours, but an intimate, super-cosy setting that is perfect for the neighbourhood. While the little ones spin around on the merry-go-round or catch ducks, the older kids can enjoy themselves in the bumper cars or one of the more challenging attractions.

Of course, no fair is complete without sweets. From candy floss to classic fairground treats, it’s one big party for those with a sweet tooth. For a hearty meal, head to Paviljoen Meerstad around the corner.

Shopping at the fair?

In addition to the fair, there is often space for local entrepreneurs to showcase their products. Although the final schedule for the fair and regional market has yet to be confirmed, in previous years this has been the main attraction on Sunday. On this day, you will often find unique handmade products, local delicacies and fashion from entrepreneurs in the region. It is the perfect day for those who enjoy browsing the stalls while the children have fun on the merry-go-round.

Location: Jumbo Meerstad car park, Vossenburglaan 184-186, Meerstad.
