Op diverse zondagen in 2026 vormen de historische pleinen van de Groningse binnenstad het decor voor sfeervolle vlooienmarkten. Bezoekers kunnen urenlang struinen langs kramen vol antiek, curiosa en tweedehands schatten. De markten vinden plaats op de Vismarkt, een intiem plein omgeven door monumentale panden zoals de Korenbeurs. Vanwege renovatiewerkzaamheden aan de Vismarkt verhuizen de markten in september naar de Grote Markt.
De markten zijn gratis toegankelijk en bieden een unieke kans om bijzondere vondsten te scoren in het hart van de stad. Met de omliggende winkels en horeca is een bezoek aan de markt de ideale invulling van een zondag in Groningen.

- Locatie Grote Markt: Zondag 6 september en zondag 13 september.
- Locatie Vismarkt: Zondag 19 april, zondag 14 juni en zondag 16 augustus.

On several Sundays in 2026, the historic squares of Groningen’s city center will host vibrant flea markets. Visitors can spend hours browsing stalls filled with antiques, curiosities, and second-hand treasures. The markets are primarily held at the Vismarkt, an intimate square surrounded by monumental buildings like the Korenbeurs. Due to renovation work at the Vismarkt, the final two markets in September will move to the Grote Markt.
Admission to the markets is free, offering a unique opportunity to find hidden gems in the heart of the city. With many surrounding shops and cafés, a visit to the flea market is the perfect Sunday activity in Groningen.
2026 Schedule:
Grote Markt Location: Sunday September 6 and Sunday September 13.
Vismarkt Location: Sunday April 19, Sunday June 14, and Sunday August 16.
