Good news for all 20 km runners taking part in the Groningen Four Days Marches! This distance was completely sold out, but due to the high level of interest, the starting zones have been expanded. As a result, additional start times are now available.
Why was the 20-kilometre route so popular?
The 20 km is the go-to distance for many walkers and runners in the northern Netherlands. It’s not a marathon, but it is a considerable challenge. Perfect for those who want a bigger adventure without committing to the full 42 km. This year, demand turned out to be much higher than expected.
More options, more choice
By expanding the starting zones, more participants can now take part. This means you have more flexibility in when you want to start. Early in the morning? That’s possible. Later in the day? Also possible. Choose the time that best suits your schedule and energy levels.
When will you start?
Check the current start times and choose your slot via the official Four Days Marches website. The sooner you register, the better – because the extra start slots are filling up fast.
