The Cinekid Festival in Groningen is ideal for kids in the autumn holidays. Children aged 4-12 can watch fun films and do workshops. A great experience for young and old!

Films

With titles such as Zeevonk, Saïd & Anna, Disney Shorts: 100 years of Disney and the sequel to Stoere Frans: Stoere Frans en de Gestolen Juwelen ( Tough French and the Stolen Jewels), among others, the kids can’t believe their luck!

Cinekid Workshops

Join us and roll up your sleeves in our workshops! Experience real drone flying, discover the magic of sound effects in the film world, transform into a creepy character with professional film make-up, make a clay animation film, or design your own film poster.

Cinekid Lab

Discover cool installations and games throughout the building, before or after the film. Make your own 360-degree video, race Mario, build your own AR movie world and much more!

Cinekid VR-Bios

Put on your VR glasses and enjoy the award-winning 360-degree film “Aripi.” It tells the story of an astronaut who dreamt of flying and freedom as a child. Now he finds himself trapped in a space capsule, and there are some challenges in his path. Hopefully everything will end well!

Where does the Cinekid Festival take place

The festival takes place from 23 to 27 October 2023 at the Forum Groningen, the most fun place to spend your autumn holidays. Buy tickets in advance, bring food and drinks, wear comfortable shoes and have fun!
